Divya Khosla Kumar Biography
Divya Khosla Kumar is an Indian actress turned director born on November 27, 1981 in Delhi. She belonged to a middle-class family and has completed her graduation in B.Com. She started modeling at the age of 18 and within few months she got her first music video opposite Salman Khan. Next she appeared in singer Abhijeet's music video.
With a strong career scope, she was bound to get shifted to Mumbai, where she resided as a paying guest for years. Her speaking eyes and beautiful personality made her cast in a popular TV serial 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'. Soon she started getting offers for films. She marked her debut on big screen with a Telugu film 'Love Today' and then she hit a jackpot when she got a lead role in Bollywood film 'Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo', which had the big names like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Nagma and Sandali Sinha in its star cast.
On the personal front, Divya got married to Bhushan Kumar, the managing director of T-Series in the year 2005 and has a son named Ruhaan with him.
Though her marriage was a hush-hush affair and she had to quit acting after that. But she always wanted to be in a creative field; therefore he did a course in cinematography and editing. After this experience, Divya Khosla Kumar directed over 20 music videos for her sister-in-law-singer Tulsi Kumar, Agam Nigam, Jermaine Jackson and few ad films. Her directorial debut was with college romantic film 'Yaariyan' in 2014.
