He is a Political Science graduate and hails from Delhi. He worked in theatres in Delhi for three years. Then he went Pune to pursue a 2 year diploma in acting, from the prestigious FTII institute. He has featured in Ads like Fidelity Mutual Funds, Virgin Mobiles and Birla Sun Life Insurance. Divyendu Debuted in the year 2011 through the movie 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' in which he was applauded for his role of "Liquid". He also won a Screen Award for Most promising Newcomer - Male. Divyendu has grabbed a chance to act in David Dhawan's 'Chashme Baddoor' which is the remake of 1981 super hit comedy film with the same name. Divyendu will play the role of Omi, the poet.
