Esha Deol Biography
Born on November 2, 1981, to famous Bollywood couple Hema Malini and Dharmendra, Esha Deol is the Bollywood actress. She is half-sister of actors, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. She went to Jamnabai Narsee School, Mumbai. During her school days, she was passionate about Football and also represented her college in Handball at state-level. She graduated from Oxford University and obtained a Masters Degree in Media Arts and Computer Technology. She is also classically trained dancer in Bharatanatyam and Odissi dance-forms.
Esha Deol landed up in Bollywood with the film 'Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe' in the year 2002. And in the following year, she had another two releases, 'Na Tum Jaano Na Hum' and 'Kyaa Dil Ne Kahaa', out of which all the three films failed at box-office. Followed by 'Kucch To Hai' and 'Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne' in the year 2003.
Esha's first box-office hit was 'Dhoom' in the year 2004. Mainly, her multi-starrer films were successful, being 'LOC - Kargil', 'Yuva', 'Kaal', 'No Entry', etc. Her fluency in Tamil language earned her Mani Ratnam's Tamil movie 'Aiyatha Ezhuthu', which was a blockbuster hit. She was positively reviewed for her role as vengeful ghost in Ram Gopal Varma's 'Darling' (2007). Later, many of her films were disastrous the last being, 'Tell Me O Kkhuda'.
On June 29th, 2012 she got married to her Businessman beau, Bharat Takhtani.
