Gautami Kapoor Biography
Gautami Kapoor is a model turned actress, born on June 21, 1974 in Mumbai. She started her modeling career at the tender age of 16 and then decided to switch to acting. She marked her debut with the TV serial 'Alag Alag' on DD Metro.
Gautami's homely features gained the lead role in Balaji Telefilm's 'Ghar Ek Mandir'. This show did wonders to her life, as she got the instant fame with her character role of Binita and also met the man of her life Ram Kapoor on its sets. She also owns the record of being the face of popular serials like 'Kehta Hai Dil' and 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'.
After a successful career in television, she stepped into the big screen with Marathi movie 'Bindhaast' in 1999. Till date, it is considered the best thriller film of Marathi film industry.
On 14th February 2003, Gautami got married to her longtime best friend turned boyfriend Ram Kapoor. The couple is having two children.
Post marriage she has reduced her onscreen appearance. She featured in supporting roles in the film like 'Kuch Naa Kaho', 'Fanaa', 'Student Of The Year' and 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects'.
