Goldie Behl a well known film director and producer was born on 23rd February 1969. His father is noted film director Ramesh Behl. Goldie Behl is an ex student of Mayo College in Ajmer Rajasthan. He is a brother of software producer and film producer Shrishti Arya (Behl). He along with his sister Shrishti has produced some films.
Behl made his directorial debut with the movie named 'Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai' starring Abhishek Bachchan, Sushmita Sen, Jackie Shroff and Rani Mukherjee. The film could not do much at the box office. He then co-founded Rose Audi Visuals. The company Rose Audi Visuals made many shows like Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na, Remix and Lipstick on Indian Television.
Goldie Behl's next directorial venture was a superhero fantasy adventure flick 'Drona' starring Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra. The story was written by Goldie Behl himself. The movie proved to be a disaster at the box office while critics gave a negative ranking to it.
Behl has co produced the movies like 'London, Paris, New York' starring Aditi Rao Hydari and Ali Zafar ; 'Angaaray' starring Akshay Kumar and Nagarjuna and 'I, Me Aur Main' starring John Abraham, Chitrangada Singh and Prachi Desai.
Goldie Behl got married to actress Sonali Bendre on 12th November 2002. The couple is blessed with a son named Ranveer.
