Harman Baweja Biography

He is an Indian actor in Bollywood. Harman Baweja was born on 13 November, 1980 in Mumbai. He is the son of famous art director Harry Baweja and film producer Pammi Baweja. Harman hails from a Sikh Punjabi family.

The actor attended Kishore Namit Kapoor's Acting Institute and then further moved to the University of California at Los Angeles. For numerology reasons, Harman Baweja changed his name to Harman S Baweja. The letter 'S' in his name indicates a tribute to his grandfather.

Sci-fi romantic flick 'Love Story 2050' was the debut film of Harman Baweja in Bollywood. Post this film, Harman was seen in the sports-flick 'Victory' in 2009, which was a complete washout at the box office. 'What's Your Raashee?' was another release of the actor in 2009. In this film, he featured opposite Priyanka Chopra. The movie did average business.

Harman received three nominations for his performances - Stardust Award for Superstar Of Tomorrow - Male for 'What's Your Raashee?', Screen Award for Most Promising Newcomer - Male for the film 'Love Story 2050' and Stardust Award for Superstar Of Tomorrow again for the film 'Love Story 2050'.

At present, Harman Baweja is working on his upcoming project 'It's My Life'. He will be paired up with Genelia D'Souza in this film that is directed by Anees Bazmee. This film is said to be a remake of a super hit Telugu movie 'Bommarillu'.
