Cute and gorgeous Jacqueline Fernandez is a model turned actress of Bollywood. Born on 2nd June 1985 to a Sri Lankan dad and Malaysian mom Jacqueline is too passionate to learn different languages. She has two brothers and a sister. She can speak Arabic, Spanish, French, English and Sinhalese.
Jacqueline's family shifted to Bahrain from Srilanka when she was young. After her schooling in Bahrain, she went to pursue her degree in Media and Communications from University of Sydney, Australia on a scholarship. Then, she moved back to Sri Lanka where she was crowned Miss Sri Lanka Universe 2006. Thus, she also represented Sri Lanka in Miss Universe Pageant but got eliminated. After that, she worked as an anchor for a television show Lanka Business Report. Later, Signing a Modeling assignment she came to India and started testing her destiny. She did a 'VIP' bags ad with Shahid Kapoor. She got her First breakthrough in 'Aladin' directed by Sujoy Ghosh and the 'Jaane Kahan Se Aayi hai' directed by Milap Zaveri both opposite Ritesh Deshmukh. She won the Stardust Award for Lux exciting new face and International Indian Film Academy award for 'Aladin'. Later, she bagged a peppy item number in Sajid Khan's commercially successful 'Housefull' where she also found the love of her life in the aged director. Sajid went on to cast her in the sequel 'Housefull 2' of 2012 which was again a blockbuster. She showed off a different color of her character in 'Murder 2' (2011).Jacqueline will soon be seen in Abbas-Mastan's 'Race 2' releasing on 25th January 2012.
