Kabeer Kaushik is well known screenwriter and film director. He is born and brought up in Patna , Bihar. He is from a Bihari family. Famous actor director Satish Kaushik is his elder brother. He has studied at the Frank Anthony Public School in New Delhi.
Kabeer has made his debut as a writer and director with the film 'Sehar' in 2005 starring Arshad Warsi, Sushant Singh, Pankaj Kapoor and Mahima Chaudhry. He next wrote and directed 'Chamku' in 2008 starring Bobby Deol, Irrfan Khan and Priyanka Chopra. In 2010, he directed the movie 'Hum Tum Aur Ghost' starring Arshad Warsi and Dia Mirza. The movie was produced by Arshad Warsi and got mixed, mostly negative reviews. Kabeer's next directorial venture was 'Maximum' in 2012 starring Sonu Sood, Naseeruddin Shah, Vinay Pathak and Neha Dhupia. The film was unsuccessful at the box office and has received the negative reviews.
