Kirti Reddy Biography
This actress appears in Bollywood as well as Tollywood films. Her father is an interior designer and mother is a fashion designer. An ex-member of Parliament from Andhra Pradesh - Ganga Reddy is her grandfather. Kirti was born on 17th November, 1978 in Hyderabad. She did her schooling from The Valley School in Bangalore. Kirti has been trained in Bharatanatyam dance form for eight years. She studied at Ryerson University in Canada for higher education.
Kirti Reddy stepped in acting field with the Telugu film 'Gunshot' by S. V. Krishna Reddy. 'Devathai' was the flick by which she entered in Kollywood in 1997. Opposite Pawan Kalyan, she stared in a film 'Tholi Prema'.
'Tera Jadoo Chal Gayaa' was the film through which she made her Bollywood debut alongside Abhishek Bachchan. Post this, she featured in the film 'Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat' opposite Arjun Rampal, who debuted in that flick. Kirti Reddy enacted a supporting role in 'Badhaai Ho Badhaai' with Anil Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty. After this, she didn't act in Hindi movies.
'Super Star' is Kirti's only Kannada film in 2002. For her performance in the Telugu film 'Arjun', Kirti received Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award in Telugu.
Kirti Reddy tied the knot with Nagarjuna's nephew Sumanth in 2004. The couple is said to had a split.
