Kitu Gidwani Biography
Kaushalya Gidwani or Kitu Gidwani is a famous model and actress. She was born in a Sindhi family on 22nd October 1957 in Mumbai. She has a brother. Kitu went to Ford Convent School. During her post graduation days, Kitu got interested into French and she started acting in the French plays. After that she started acting in English plays whose director was Janak Toprani. Kitu has acted in many television serials and a French film known as 'Black'. Kitu has never married and vowed to stay single.
Kitu started her career on the screen with the TV serial 'Trishna'. She was seen in some famous TV serials like Junoon, Swabhimaan and Air Hostess. She recently was seen in the serials like 'Kaashish and Kulvadhu.
Kitu Gidwani has featured in the film 'Dane of the Wind' in 1997. Her performance in the film bagged her the best actress award at Three Continents Festival.
Some of the films in which Kitu has acted are 'Holi','Wisdom Tree','The Khajuraho','Rukmavati Ki Haweli','Saahil','Karvaa','Abhay','Fashion' and 'Dhobi Ghaat'. Apart from these, she has done cameos in many films and did many plays.
