Madhu Sapre is a well-known Indian model born on 14 July 1971. Madhu was an athlete in 90's and became famous after commencing modeling when she was young. The damsel was second runner up at the Miss Universe pageant in 1992.
In the competition, Sapre responded to the final question very straight-forwardly and from her heart. Being a sportsperson, she spoke about deficiency of Indian sports fields, owing to which athletes are unable to do enough practice. The bindaas model didn't bother about being politically correct while answering the question. Giving an unusual answer deteriorated her position from winner to third finalist. Madhu says, due to not having much proficiency in English language proved as a barrier for being unable to express her. The bombshell acted in the movie 'Boom' in 2003.
Madhu Sapre was in news because of shooting for Tuff Shoes print advertisement. The models in ad, Madhu Sapre and Milind Soman shed all of their clothes and wore only shoes for the ad-shoot, making it a steamy one. The ad created much waves in the city at that time.
Both the models were seeing each other during those times. A case was registered by Mumbai's social service branch against the ad because of models posing without clothes and wrapping python around the body. Under Wildlife Protection Act, another case was registered against the raunchy ad for using the python illegally. The advertisement agency, the photographers and both the models were the ones, who were in trouble. The case was going on for almost fourteen years and eventually the court freed the accused.
Sapre presently resides in Italy after getting married to Gian Maria and makes trip between India and Italy.
