Makarand Deshpande Biography
Makarand Deshpande is the actor, writer, director of Hindi and Marathi films and theatre. He also acted in Telugu and Kannada and Malyalam movies. Makarand was born on 6th March 1966 in India. He studied in Shri BPM School. He now stays in Vile Parle, Mumbai in Maharashtra.
He is known for his unusual look and is noted for his strange outfits and hairstyles. This may be a reason for his odd roles in movies. He has done many important roles here and there in films like 'Jungle', 'Sarfarosh', 'Swades', 'Makdee' and 'Darna Zaroori hai', 'Bbuddah - Hoga Terra Baap'. He has also directed a few films. He directed a Hindi movie 'Shahrukh Bola Khoobsurat hai Tu' in 2010. But his actual forte is theatre. The Theatre aficionado has written about 35 full length plays and 12 short plays. He also owns a theatre company 'Ansh'.
His next directorial will be a thriller 'Sona Spa', for which he also wrote the dialogues. He will also be seen acting in 'Dream Man'.
