Manish Tiwary Biography
Manish Tiwary hails from Bihar, India. He studied at Cambridge University, UK and Yale University in USA. Manish also holds experience of working with Food and Agriculture Organization of UN in Rome, Nepal and India. He also published articles relating to Political ecology in magazines. One of such article, his monograph on forest policies was published by Ashgate, UK.
But still Manish's heart was beating for Cinema. He ran a film society in Cambridge and also made two lengthy documentaries and some short films. His directorial debut in Hindi Cinema was 'Dil Dosti Etc'. Manish got nominated in IIFA awards for the best debut director category. Manish's Next directorial is 'Issaq' which is a desi take on Romeo and Juliet. It will have Prateik Babbar, Ravi Kishan, Makarand Deshpande and Neena Gupta as a part of the star cast.
