Remember the famous music album 'Kaliyon Ka Chaman' by UMI10's? Meghna Naidu was the fresh face the audience saw in this video. This album was the official remix of songstress Lata Mangeshkar's classic song 'Thoda Resham Lagta Hai' (1981). This track gained abrupt popularity to Meghna and she instantly rose to fame as 'Item Girl'. Post this track, the dusky beauty also featured in the album 'Sutta Mix' in the song 'Dil De Diya Tha'.

A dancer and an actress, Meghna was born on 19 September 1981. The father of Meghna Naidu, Ethiraj was a tennis coach and he works with Air India. Her mother Purnima was a school teacher. The actress is having one sister, Sona. Being born in Mumbai, Meghna proudly calls herself as 'more of a Mumbaiite'. She was a student of the Bhavan's College in Mumbai and holds the degree in Commerce. For consecutive seven years, Meghna learnt the classical form on dance, Bharatanatyam. For four years, the girl with an interest in sports used to be the coach for Tennis in the US.

Meghna debuted in Telugu film industry with the movie 'Prema Sakshi' (1999), she acted in one more Telugu film and two Kannada flicks. Then, she was seen in 'Kaliyon Ka Chaman' music album directed by Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao. Meghna excitedly recalls the incident of her auditions as she was chosen accidently by the team. One of her friend was going to give auditions for the music album, but on seeing Meghna, the team asked her to send the photos. And eventually, Meghna was chosen to feature in the music album. The stunning actress also performed for various Indian and global stage performances.

Talking about her Bollywood entry, Meghna stepped in the Hindi cinema with the low budget movie 'hawas' in the year 2004. The movie was centered on the topic of extramarital affair. She played a lead role in 2005's movie 'Classic'. Meghna was portrayed as a dancer in that film. The other movies done by Meghna include 'Mashooka' (2005), 'Rain' (2005), 'Bad Friend' (2005), 'Jackpot' (2005), 'Eight' (2006), and 'Rivaaz' (2011).

Meghna appeared in small screen with television reality shows like 'Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi' and 'Dancing Queen', both aired on Colors television.

At present, Meghna is having two Kannada and two Hindi projects in her hand. Out of them, Hindi cinemas like 'Love At First Sight' and 'Ishq Deewana' are under construction.
