Milind Soman Biography

Milind Soman is the celebrated model, actor and producer. He was born on 4th November 1965 in Scotland. He along with his family lived in England untill his family shifted to India when Milind was 7 years old. Very few people know that Milind was a national-level swimmer for India.

Milind is considered as one of the initial professional models in India. His first noted work in the field of modeling was for a clothing brand. Milind quickly became one the most successful models of India. His fame reached the peak when he appeared in the singer Alisha Chinoy's music album 'Made In India' in 1995. The album made Milind a household name.

After achieving fame in the field of modeling, Milind appeared in the sci-fi TV serial 'Captain Vyom' in the title role. Later he focused on his film career. Some of the significant films in which Milind appeared are '16 December', 'Agni Varsha', 'Paiyaa', 'Pachaikili Muthucharam' and 'Asoka'. He has also appeared in the films like 'Bheja Fry' ,'Bhram', 'David', 'Jodi Breakers', '27-13.20 Nakshatra', 'Do Paise Ki Dhoop Chaar Aane Ki Baarish' and 'Say Salaam India'. He has also acted in Sachin Kundalkar's Marathi film named 'Gandha'. Milind has also appeared in some English language films like 'The Flag' and 'Valley of Flowers'. He has produced the film 'Rules (Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula)' in 2003 and a TV serial named 'Ghost Bana Dost'.

He was in a relationship with the model Madhu Sapre. Later he married his 'Valley Of Flowers' co star Mylene Jampanoi but later divorced. Currently Milind Soman is in a relationship with actress Shahana Goswami. Milind faced lots of controversy and criticism when he and Madhu Sapre posed nude in a print advertisement for a shoe brand.
