Jassi aka Mona Singh is a famous actress and a television presenter. She got into fame with the serial 'Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi' on Sony entertainment television. Born on 8th October 1980, Mona hails from a sikh family. She has grown up in Nagpur and Pune.
Mona's first venture was 'Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi' where she played a central character, which brought her lots of fame and fan following. Then she took part in one dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and won that show. She then participated in an event based on AIDS awareness. In 2007 she became the brand ambassador for Sony Entertainment Television.
Mona has done the anchoring for the shows like Extreme Makeover, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4 and Extra Shots. She has done endorsement for many brands. She also hosted the show Entertainment ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. Mona made one film named as 'Bobby Pushkarna' Mona has featured in the blockbuster '3 Idiots' as Kareena Kapoor's elder sister, Mona. She was also seen in the movie 'Utt Pataang'. Mona is a leading model and has bagged many awards for her performance on the small screen.
