Mouli Ganguly Biography
Mouli Ganguly is a famous television actress and Bengali film actress. She became a household name after Ekta Kapoor's thriller TV serial on Star Plus 'Kahiin Kissii Roz'. Mouli was born on 15 December,1981 in Kolkata. She has studied at University of Calcutta and has a degree in mass communication.
Mouli started her career as a model. She has featured in a number of TV ads like Rin, Pears, Close-Up, Arial, Asian Paints, Double Diamond , Britannia, Sonam Quartz , Bombay Dying and Maggie. She later worked as an assistant director. In 2001 , she bagged a lead role in Ekta Kapoor's serial 'Kaahin Kissi Roz'. She came into limelight because of this role. After that she was seen in the serials like 'Resham Dankh' ,'Kkusum' ,'Kutumb' and 'Saaksshi'.
After that she appeared in Rituparno Ghosh's critically acclaimed movie 'Raincoat' with Ajay Devgn and Aishwarya Rai. After that, she came back on television with the TV serial 'Aathvaan Vachan' . She then appeared in one dance reality show Nach Baliye. She has also appeared as a lead in the film 'It's a Man's World'.
Currently she is essaying a negative role in the serial 'Kya Huaa Tera Vaada' on Sony TV. Mouli is married to her long time boyfriend and co-star Mazhar Sayyed.
