Mumait Khan is a famous film actress who is popular for her dance item numbers in the movies. She is an uncrowned queen of the dance item numbers in Bollywood. Her real name is Mumait Abdul Rashid Khan. She is also known as Munnu or Munni. Mumait was born on 1st September 1982 in Mumbai. Her father is Abdul Rashid Khan and her mother is Hasina Khan.
Mumait's family hails from Pakistan but later shifted to Mumbai. Her father is an Indian from Tamil Nadu and her mother is from Pakistan. Mumait has four sisters. Mumait joined a small dance troupe to support her family. Eventually she started earning recognition for her dance performances in various films. Her sister Zabyn Khan also stepped into the industry and has appeared in cameos in some Telugu films.
Mumait has appeared in many Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi films. Some of the Hindi films in which she has featured are 'Munna Bhai M.B.B.S' ,'Lucky','Chocolate','Rowdy Rathore','Big Brother','Fight Club','Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena','Hulchul','Asambhav','Julie' and 'Kaante' etc.
