Nishikant Kamat Biography
Nishikant Kamat is a talented director in Marathi and Hindi film industry. His debut film was Dombivali Fast which won him lots of critical appreciation. He then made the remakes of this film in Tamil with R. Madhavan. He has also appeared in another famous Marathi movie 'Saatchya Aat Gharat'. He debuted in the Bollywood in the year 2004 with the film 'Hava Aney Dey'. Later in the year 2008, he made a film based on 2006 Mumbai Bomb Blasts named as 'Mumbai Meri Jaan' starring R. Madhavan and Soha Ali Khan. The film won many Filmfare awards.
Kamat has also appeared in the film '404' in the year 2011. In the same year he directed the film 'Force' starring John Abraham, Vidyut Jamwal and Genelia D'Souza. The film got rave reviews from critics and audiences. It was a commercial hit at the box office.
