Punit Malhotra Biography
The young director of Bollywood Punit Malhotra was born on 13th May 1982. Famous fashion designer Manish Malhotra is Punit's uncle. Punit is a director, writer and a model too. He made his directorial debut in 2010 with the film 'I hate Luv storys' starring Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor. Punit worked as an assistant director for Karan Johar's movie 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in 2001 and Nikhil Advani's movie 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' in 2003. He has also worked with Amol Palekar in 'Paheli' in 2005 and with Tarun Mansukhani in 'Dostana' in 2008. After getting much experience of the film direction, he wrote and directed 'I Hate Luv Storys' which was appreciated by critics and the young generation.
Currently he is busy in directing the movie 'Gori Tere Pyar Mein' with Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor. He has written the script for his movie as well.
