Raj Nidimoru is a US based filmmaker who is of an Indian origin. He made a directorial debut through his film 'Flavors' in 2004. The actors were newcomers and most were not well known. But the film was a hit and critically acclaimed.
His second film was '99' which was a mainstream cinema. This film also was an average at the box office and got positive reviews from the critics. His next film 'Shor in the City' is a famous film which got positive reviews and a good opening in India and abroad. The film brought him the Best Director Award at the Mahindra Indo-American Arts Council Film Festival in New York. This film was shown in many international film festivals.
