Ram Charan Teja Biography
A southern heartthrob, successful entrepreneur, skill trained equestrian, are few among the diction words to describe the trio-packed combo actor Ram Charan Teja. Son to the southern megastar Chiranjeevi, Ram's future was already predicted to be that of an achiever.
Born on the 27th of March 1985, Teja received acting skills from his family with his paternal and maternal uncles and aunt from the industry along with cousin Allu Arjun as an add on. Brought up in Chennai, his mother Surekha and star daddy raised up this lad along with his elder sibling Sushmita and younger Sreeja. Ram completed his studies from Padma Sheshadri Bala Bhavan School, Chennai. As well as, he got himself trained in horse riding combined with martial arts, as he focused to carry forward the success league commenced by his father.
But, as generations look out a change, so did his parents by not only seeing their son prosper as actors but as an entrepreneur as well. Charan possessed his corporate talent by serving himself on the Board of Directors for a leading television network 'Maa T.V' along with his own polo team 'Ram Charan Hyderabad Polo Riding Club' (RC HPRC).
However, the acting was always in his genes, which didn't allowed any barrier that could stop Ram from appearing on the silver screen. With chiseled looks and well toned physique, Ram debuted in the Telugu film industry in the year 2007 with Puri Jagannadh's directorial 'Chirutha'. The flick went on to become a success, so did the industry got its next superstar in Ram. The movie grabbed the lad critical as well as fraternity appraisals through various awards. His second flick 'Magadheera' went on to become a consecutive hit from Teja and he established himself as a star throwing off the 'rising star' tag behind in Tollywood. Ram appeared in couple of flicks like 'Orange', 'Rachcha' later which added up to the success bank of the lad along with several acclamations.
As his career climbed the peak, so did prospered his personal life. In the year 2012, Charan got hitched to his love Upasana Kamineni, Vice-Chairman of Apollo Charity and Chief Editor of B Positive Magazine.
The beginning of 2013 welcomed success to Teja with South Indian flick 'Naayak', his first release for the year. The movie proved to be a hit as usual, not only in Telugu, but also through dubbed versions in Tamil and Malayalam. However, Teja is proceeding with another Telugu flick 'Yevadu', he is all geared up to mark his debut in Bollywood with a remake opposite Priyanka Chopra.
Teja has pulled up his socks to fit in the shoes of "Shahenshah of Bollywood", Amitabh Bachchan himself. Teja will be seen portraying the very character of Amitabh in the film 'Zanjeer' for his upcoming remake by the same title, with a vision to establish his image as the 'gen next angry young man' the same tag which was earlier possessed by Bachchan senior.
