The muscle man Randeep Hooda belongs to the Jat family from Haryana. He originates from a village named Jassia which is located in in the Rohtak district of the state Haryana. Coming from an elite background, Randeep 's father Ranbir Hooda works as a surgeon and his mother Asha Hooda is famous for her contribution in the social work. Randeep was a bright student during all his study years. He did his schooling from Delhi Public School and then got a bachelor's degree in marketing. He later went to Australia to get his masters degree in Human Resource and Management.
His trip to Australia gave him altogether different results from what he had expected. Other than getting an MBA degree, he also got a chance to work in Mira Nair's critically acclaimed film 'Monsoon Wedding'. Mira Nair found this strong Jat guy when he was busy in working for theatre plays and doing modeling assignments. After 'Monsoon Wedding', he took a break of four years from films and then rejoined the tinsel town with Ram Gopal Varma's film 'D' which was based on the real life of danger don Dawood Ibrahim. The handsome hunk got noticed by the Bollywood through this film.
By that time the B-town was busy in talking about the relationship between him and Miss Universe Sushmita Sen. After that the cool dude acted in many films like 'Darna Zaroori Hai','Karma Aur Holi' , 'Rang Rasiya', 'Risk' and 'Ru Ba Ru', etc. but they were not proved as commercially successful films. Randeep learnt many things about films and acting through these films. This helped him in bagging a role of ACP in Milan Luthria's much talked film 'Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai'. This film helped him a lot in getting a variety of film offers to him. The tall guy got many nominations and appreciation for his next film 'Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster'.
Later Randeep was seen in many big banner films like 'Jannat 2', 'Cocktail' and did prominent roles in films like 'Jism 2' with Sunny Leone, and 'Heroine' with Kareena Kapoor.
He broke off with Sushmita Sen eventually and now he is in relationship with Neetu Chandra. His future projects include big banner films like 'Murder 3', 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns', 'Ungli', and 'Shooter'.
