Ranvir Shorey Biography
Smart and witty Ranvir Shorey is an Indian actor known for essaying varied roles in Bollywood movies. Born on 18th August 1972 Shorey studied in Dayanand Model Sr. Sec School in Jalandhar. He began his career as a V.J. He has hosted a show named 'Ranvir Vinay aur Kaun?' along with Vinay Pathak. He also hosted The 'Great Indian Comedy' Show both on channel Star One. Ranvir's first movie was 'Ek Chhoti Si Love Story' of 2002. Then he came in a few small noticeable roles in 'Jism' (2003),'Lakshya' (2004),'Bheja Fry' (2007). His movie 'Mithya was a critical and commercial Hit. He was also praised for his role in 2006 movie 'Mixed Doubles'. The same year he was highly appreciated for his comic role in the successful 'Khosla Ka Ghosla'. He played a small gray character in 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd'. Ranvir played the lead role in 'Mithya' and proved his forte.
He starred opposite Mallika Sherawat in 'Ugly Aur Pagli'. He also featured in 'Aaja Nachle','Singh Is Kinng'. Recently he appeared in 'Fatso' and 'Ek Tha Tiger'. Ranvir shares a great bonding to friends Vinay Pathak and Rajat Kapoor.He was married to his 3 year old girlfriend Konkona Sen Sharma in September 2010. They have a 2 year old baby boy named 'Haroon'. But, now Ranvir and Konkana have split up and are on a verge of getting divorced.
Ranvir will next be seen in 'Bajate Raho' alongside Vinay Pathak and Tusshar Kapoor.
