Raqesh Vashisth is a Bollywood and Television actor.
Rakesh
Rakesh was born in India on 1 September 1978 and finished his MBA from Bombay University. This Brahmin guy was born to a father who was in the Navy and a surgeon mother.

Rakesh has done a number of commercials for brands like Colgate, Wrigley's chewing gum, SSI-Education, and Lux. He will soon be seen in an ad for Fiama Di Wills.
Films
After working for international companies, he started his film career with a special appearance in Tum Bin (2001) and then appeared opposite actress Reema Sen in Kuchh Dil Ne Kaha (2002). Rakesh was beside seen in films like Dil Vil Pyar Vyar (2002), Wrong Number (2003), Kaun Hai Jo Sapno Mein Aaya? (2004), and Koi Mere Dil Mein Hai in 2005. These films did not get a very good response. In Koi Mere Dil Mein Hai he appeared alongside Dia Mirza and Sadashiv Amrapurkar. His last release was a mythological film named Jai Santoshi Maa in 2006. The actor played the lead character of Anurag in this film. Rakesh has beside worked in Hollywood films.
His next film will be A New Love Story by John Mathew Mathan.
Television
After the disappointment he faced in the film industry Rakesh switched to the television industry and appeared in the very famous TV serial named Saat Phere on zee TV. Then he played a character named Anuj in NDTV Imagine's Ek Packet Umeed. He beside played Karan Mehra in a serial named Simply Sapne. The actor will soon be seen in a TV show by Yashraj Films.
