Rhea ventured into glitzy glamour world for the first time as a VJ on MTV India and then paved the path for being a film actress. She was born on July 1, 1992 in Ambala, Haryana. Rhea Chakraborty was the contestant at TVS Scooty Teen Diva show aired on MTV India in the year 2009. She turned up the winner for the show. After this, Rhea was screen-tested for a VJ spot.
Several rumours said that Rhea is modelling for one of the famous brands from New York called Exquisite Hookah. 'Pepsi MTV Wassup' and 'Gone In 60 Seconds' are the two television shows anchored by Rhea Chakraborty. Along with Ayushman Khurana, Rhea hosted many other MTV shows including 'Fantastic Five' and 'TicTac College Beat Teacher's Aquanoon Party'. Rhea became a fresh famous face after playing host to various television shows. She entered in Telugu film industry in the film 'Tuneega Tuneega' in the year 2012. Talking about her Bollywood debut, Rhea appeared for the very first time on the silver screen in the movie 'Mere Dad Ki Maruti' opposite Saqib Saleem in 2013. This flick was produced by Yash Raj Films's subsidiary, Y Films.
