Rohan Sippy Biography
Rohan Sippy is a son of well known director Ramesh Sippy (Sholay) . Rohan is himself a talented and famous director of the young generation. He is a producer of Hindi films too, He is a grandson of yesteryears famous Bollywood producer and director G. P. Sippy.Junior AB a.k.a. Abhishek Bachchan is Rohan's good friend. They have studied together in the school. The talented director went to the well-known Aiglon College in Switzerland and got his bachelors degree at Stanford University in California. There he met his love Rohena Gera whom he got married. But soon in 2003, the couple got a divorce. Rohena is now a screenwriter. Rohan again got married to Roopa and the couple has a cute baby girl born on 27th November 2007.
Rohan has directed four films 'Kuch Naa Kaho' in 2003 starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, 'Bluffmaster' in 2005 starring Abhishek Bachchan,Priyanka Chopra,Riteish Deshmukh and 'Dum Maaro Dum' starring Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu which was released in 2011. Coincidentally Abhishek Bachchan was there in every film which Rohan directed.
Rohan has done film production too. He has produced total four films 'Zamaana Deewana' in 1996, 'Taxi No. 9211' in 2006, 'Chandni Chowk To China' in 2009 and 'The President is Coming' in 2009.
The talented director is looking forward for his next directorial venture 'Nautanki Saala' starring Ayushman Khurana,Kunaal Roy Kapur,Evelyn Sharma and Pooja Salvi.
