Sameer Dharmadhikari is a model as well as a television and film actor. He hails from Pune and he did his theater in Pune. Sameer was working as a hydraulic machine designer prior venturing into acting field. After shifting the base to Mumbai, he did modeling for various brands like De Beers, Vimal Suitings, Nescafe, ICICI Bank and for a contraceptive pill. The name of his wife is Aparna Dharmadhikari and they have a daughter Saraswati.
The exceptional actor essayed lead role in a Marathi film titled 'Nirop'. This movie won National Award for the category of Best Marathi Film. Sameer is mainly seen in Marathi films. However, he rendered some crucial roles in Hindi films, such as 'Agni Pankh', 'Mumbai Meri Jaan', 'Raincoat', 'Game', 'Satta', 'Rafta Rafta', 'Dil Kya Kare', 'City of Gold' and 'Nigehbaan'.
