Modeling
Sangeeta Bijlani was crowned as Miss India in 1980. This 5'7" tall beauty represented India at the Miss Universe contest, where she won the Best National Costume round.
Her ads turned out to be more successful than her films. Some of the brands she endorsed were Nirma, Ponds, and Vicco Turmeric Ayurvedic cream.
Films
Sangeeta Bijlani started her filmi career with a bang. In the late 80s she had two releases, Qatil (1988) and Hathyar (1989).
The latter was directed by J.P.Dutta and starred Dharamendra, Rishi Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Asha Parekh.
Her other release in 1989 was Rajiv Rai's Tridev, which was a major hit. She played the role of Natasha and was seen opposite Jacky Shroff.
From there, it started going downhill. The films she acted in the 90s didn't do well at the box office. Some of them were: Gunahon Ka Devta (1990), Khoon Ka Karz (1991), Game (1993), and Nirbhay (1996).
