Sanjay Mishra is a very famous actor in the Indian film industry. He is well known for his timing and style in the comic roles. Born on 6th October 1963 in Patana, Sanjay is also famous for his character of Apple Singh which he played during the 1999 Cricket World Cup.

Sanjay was born in a simple Hindu family in Bihar. His father's name is Shambhu Nath Mishra who worked as a Journalist. Sanjay is a trained actor. He learnt acting from the National School of Drama after passing his 12th standard. He passed out of NSD in the year 1989.After completing the acting course, Sanjay did many small roles in films and and on television. He appeared in many commercial advertisements too. His golden opportunity came when he did a commercial of Mirinda ( a cold drink) with Amitabh Bachchan. After that, Sanjay became a known face to everybody. He made his debut in Hindi films through 'Oh Darling! Yeh Hai India'.

The talented actor has always been typecasted as a comedian though he did negative roles in 'Zameen' and 'Satya'. He has appeared in numerous films. Some of his famous films are 'Plan','Charas','Saathiya','Phir bhi Dil hai Hindustani','Dil Se','Bunty aur Babli','Golmaal','Guru','Anwar','Journey Bombay To Goa','Golmaal Returns','All The Best','Aloo Chaat','Golmaal 3','Phas Gaye Re Obama','Son of Sardaar','Khiladi 786','Delhi Safari' etc.

Sanjay is also famous for the role of Shukla ji in the hilarious TV series on SAB TV named as 'Office Office'. He has also acted in the film 'Chala Mussaddi - Office Office' which was based on 'Office Office'.
