He is an Indian actor as well as Bollywood producer. 'Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi' in the year 1999 was the debut movie of Sanjay Suri in Bollywood. Sanjay was born on 6th April, 1971 in Kashmir. The actor spent nineteen years of his life in Kashmir and hence, he developed a bond of love for nature. Sanjay is having a brother and a sister.

He was a Squash champion, when he was in the school. Sanjay's family lived in a refugee camp in Jammu for a brief period after his father expired in a terrorist attack. Later on, they moved to Delhi. After shifting to Delhi, Suri ventured into modeling field and he did modeling for Nilkamal Furniture, Gillette, Times Of India, Nescafe and Philishave.

'Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi' was the breakthrough of Sanjay Suri into Bollywood world. Dino Morea and Rinke Khanna were his co-stars in this film. The talent of Sanjay received recognition even though the film could not create wonders at the box office. 'Filhaal' was his film that released in 2002. The year 2002 also observed one more hit film of this actor titled 'Dil Vil Pyar Vyar'. His 2003's release, 'Pinjar' received rave reviews. The film featured Urmila Matondkar in female lead. 'Jhankaar Beats' of the year 2003 turned out to be a super hit, which starred Sanjay Suri, Rahul Bose, Juhi Chawla, Rinke Khanna, Riya Sen and Shayan Munshi in key roles. Sanjay's performance in this movie alongside Juhi Chawla was highly praised.

'My Brother Nikhil' (2005) was the flick in which Suri's acting performance was critically acclaimed and Juhi Chawla was once again his co-star in it. Also the film critics raised thumbs ups for the actor's performance in it, though the film failed to grab much attention apart from Mumbai region. 'Sorry Bhai' was the film that released in 2008 and featured Sanjay Suri along with Chitrangada Singh and Sharman Joshi. Produced by Anticlock Films, 'I Am' was the film directed and co-produced by Suri in the year 2011, which was comprised of four short tales. This flick was the winner of National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. The movie made the actor to receive David Flint Honorary Award for the promotion of human rights. 'I Am' accomplished various other awards like the Best in Asian Cinema Award (NETPAC) at the International Kerala film festival in 2010, The Best Film at Florence 'River to River' festival and the Audience Choice Award in 2010. The actor was a part of Incredible India team, which was the representative of 'I Am' during Cannes Film Festival 2012.

Sandeep Marwah honored Sanjay Suri with the membership of International Film and Television Club of Asian Academy Of Film & Television. Some more films in which Sanjay appeared in are 'Chalo Ishq Ladaye' (2002), 'Plan' (2004), 'Dhoop' (2003), 'Shaadi Ka Laddoo' (2004), 'My Bollywood Bride' (2006), 'Home Delivery' (2005), 'Speed' (2007), 'Say Salaam India' (2007), 'Firaaq' (2008), 'A Flat' (2010), 'Sikandar' (2009), 'Bas Ek Pal' (2006) and 'Heroine' (2012). Suri also starred in an Assamese film titled 'Ekhon Nedekha Nodir Xhipare' in 2012.

Sanjay Suri is married to Ambika and the couple is having two children.
