She traveled from being a VJ on Channel V, host, the beauty queen and then entered the glittery world of Bollywood as an actress. Sarah Jane Dias hails from a Roman Catholic family based in Muscat and was born on December 3, 1982 in Muscat, Oman. Sarah's father Eustace Dias is working as a marketing manager with a company and her mother's name is Yolanda. Sarah's sister's name is Elena-Rose. She studied in Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir and then she further took education in Indian School Muscat. She was also student of Mumbai-based St. Andrews College and Mithibai College.

Miss India Oman title was won by Sarah at the tender age of 12 years. She won a talent hunt show when she was 21 years old, which paved the way for her to become a host of a show on Channel V. Sarah hosted 'Get Gorgeous', a supermodel hunt TV show on the same channel. 'Brides Wanted' was the film through Sarah Jane Dias debuted in Bollywood in 2007. In the album 'Switch' by an Australian rock group INXS, Sarah featured in the track "Never Let You Go". Sarah won the title of Femina Miss India World 2007. She got her first breakthrough with the Tamil film 'Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai' alongside Vishal Krishna. The brown-eyed beauty also starred opposite Pawan Kalyan in the Telugu flick 'Panjaa' in 2011. Sarah Jane Dias played a key role in the Hindi film 'Game' opposite Abhishek Bachchan in 2011. Then, she also featured in the films like 'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum' alongside Riteish Deshmukh in 2012. In the year 2013, she appeared in the film 'O Teri' that also starred Pulkit Samrat and Bilal Amrohi. She is filming for the film 'Angry Indian Goddess'.
