She was born as Sarita Catherine Louise Choudhury on 18 August 1966 in Blackheath, London. Sarita was born to an Indian scientist Prabhas Chandra and Julia Patricia Spring. From Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. she finished her graduation in Economics.
Sarita's Career
Mississippi Masala by Mira Nair was her debut film. She beside appeared in Mira's The Perez Family (1995) and Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love (1996). In Wild West she played the role of a western singer and in Fresh Kill as a lesbian.
In 2002 she played the lead role in Just a Kiss. And beside appeared in films like She Hate Me, Lady in the Water and Gloria.
Sarita played the role of Dr. Kalyani in Homicide: Life on the Streets and appeared as King's mistress in a drama named Kings.
