Every character he plays he just enlivens the it. We are talking about one and only comic villain , Shakti Kapoor. The tall gentleman who has been entertaining us for 38 years, acted in more than 400 films till date. Shakti attracts audiences with his exceptional performances in the Hindi films. We have many hit pairs in the Bollywood ; but Shakti's pair with Kadar Khan is the one and only. It had been the USP of many Hindi films.

Shakti was born on 3rd September 1958 in Delhi in a Punjabi family. He did his graduation from Kirori Mal College in Delhi. His father had the tailoring business in Delhi. Shakti is married to Shivangi, sister of actress Padmini Kolhapure. The couple has two children named as Siddhant and Shraddha Kapoor. Both the children are trying for Bollywood. Shakti has got many nominations for his negative and comic roles. He got the Filmfare award for the best actor in a comic role in 1995, for the film 'Raja Babu'.

Shakti Kapoor made his debut in the year 1975 with the film 'Do Jasoos' followed by 'Sangram'. Initially he did one film per year. But then he grasped the style and appeared in numerous films. He came into limelight by the film 'Qurbani' in 1980. He did various types of roles like supporting roles, comic roles and negative roles. He got a lot of accolades for his performance as a villain and as a comedian. Some of his remarkable films are 'Satte Pe Satta','Chaalbaaz','Dance Dance','Khiladi',' Andaz Apna Apna','Main Khiladi Tu Anari','Coolie No.1 ','Judwaa', ' Hum Saath Saath hain',' Aankhen', ,'Bhagam Bhag','Zubeidaa' and 'Hungama' etc.
