Sharad Kapoor is an Indian actor born on February 13, 1976 in Calcutta (now Kolkata), India. He stepped in Bollywood as an assistant director for the film 'Lakshman Rekha'. But his striking rugged look brought him in front of the camera where he went on becoming an actor with film 'Mera Pyara Bharat' in 1994.
Right after his debut, number of films started coming his way. Sharad holds the credits in the films 'Dastak' (1996), 'Ankhon Mein Tum Ho', 'Iski Topi Uske Sar', 'Trishakti', 'Khauff', 'LOC - Kargil', 'Lakshya', 'Wanted', 'Jai Ho' and 'Hook Ya Crook', to name a few. But his character role of a local goon Prakash in Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Josh' is considered his best performance of his career till date, for which he has even got nominated in Filmfare Awards' Best Villain category.
