Shashanka Ghosh Biography
Shashanka Ghosh has earned his name in the list of prominent Indian film makers. He started his career as a creative brain behind the launch of leading music channels - MTV and Channel V in India.
His innovative projection of ideas and extraordinary writing skills drawn him into film making. He attained recognition in Bollywood, on his own terms. Although, he made some low-budget movies, yet his films were remarkably good. Wherein, as a writer his film conceptualization is abrupt, with exceptionally strong story-line. And as a director, he accomplished to bring out the intense power-packed performances from the actors.
Ghosh started off his career in Bollywood by penning down the story of 'Waisa Bhi Hota Hai - Part II' and also with it, he did his directorial debut in Bollywood, in the year 2003. The film gained him appreciation. In 2009, he directed a film, 'Quick Gun Murugun', which had a lead character named Murugan created for the launch of television music network, Channel V. Through this film, he visited the old lanes of his budding career, where he forged the creative campaign at the launch of the channel.
Shashanka Ghosh's upcoming directorial venture is 'Khoobsurat Remake'.
