Siddharth Malhotra Biography

The handsome hunk and the new Dreamboy of young ladies , Siddharth Malhotra had the X factor since his childhood. He started his career at the young age of 16 years. He started modelling at very young age and companies like Pantaloons, NIIT and Color Plus found a good brand ambassador in him and offered him to get associated with them. He was chosen as Mr. Gujrat in the year 2007 and end up at the position of 2nd runner up in Gladrags Mega-model & Manhunt 2007, later he won the title of Gladrags Face of the Year 2009 and became NDTV Model of the Year 2010. Then he was chosen as the NDTV Best Assistant Director in the year 2010.

The talented model did not stop here. He walked on ramps in Paris and Dubai and also for the famous designers like Manish Malhotra and fashion designer Rohit Bal. The attractive guy has a spark off acting in him as well. He worked as a child artist in the TV serial 'Prithviraj Chauhan'. Veteran director Karan Johar saw this spark in Siddharth and chose him to play the character of Abhimanyu Singh in his film 'Student Of The Year'. With his good looks, charm and hard work, Siddharth made his acting debut successful.

Born on Jan 16, 1985 in a Punjabi family, Siddharth is a 2nd son of his parents. He is a complete Delhi guy. His father Rajeev Malhotra works in the Merchant Navy and his mother Leena Malhotra is a full time housewife. His elder brother works in the banking field.

The Punjabi Munda Siddharth Malhotra wants to create a good position for himself in the B-Town. His hard work, sincerity and passion towards acting has brought him a fruit of success in his debut film 'Student Of The Year' along with two new faces Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan.

Siddharth is currently looking forward for his two new projects, Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd and Ekta Kapoor's 'Hasee Toh Phasee' with Parineeti Chopra and Farah Khan's new film 'Happy New Year' which contains a big star cast like Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan.
