Siddharth Shukla Biography
Siddharth Shukla is a model turned actor, born on December 12, 1980 in Mumbai. He originally hails from Allahabad district in Uttar Pradesh, his father being a Civil Engineer used to work in Reserve Bank of India. He has completed his schooling from St. Xaviers High School, Fort.
Siddharth started his career in modeling and holds the record of winning the "Best Model of the World 2005" title at model hunt competition held in Turkey. He has been the face of number of TV commercial for the brands like Bajaj, Fair & Lovely, etc.
His heroic personality earned him the acting break in TV serials. He got fame with his character role of Shiv Shekhar in daily soap 'Balika Vadhu' aired on Colors TV. Later, he was seen on dancing reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 6', this is when director Karan Johar spotted him and decided to cast him in 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'.
