Sonakshi Sinha Biography

Sonakshi Sinha is a fresh talent in Bollywood. She is an Indian actress born on 2nd June 1987. Sonakshi, the daughter of the yesteryear actor Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, was a student of fashion designing at SNDT University in Mumbai, prior to entering in glitzy world of Bollywood. In 2005, Sonakshi designed costumes for the film 'Mera Dil Leke Dekkho'. The actress is having two siblings, Luv and Kush Sinha. Before venturing into acting, Sonakshi walked the ramp for Lakme Fashion Week in 2008 as well as 2009.

'Dabangg' was the very first movie of Sonakshi in Bollywood. The superstar Salman Khan was her co-star in the film. Filmfare awarded her as the 'Best Female Debut' for her performance in 'Dabangg'. The actress also received positive reviews for the same. No need to say, 'Dabangg' turned to be a superhit movie at the box-office giving rise to 100 crore club! Currently, Sonakshi is working on various projects like 'Lootera' opposite Ranveer Singh. It's a Vikramaditya Motwane film. The actress is also shooting for the 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Again' and 'Pistol'. Akshay Kumar and Imran Khan would be her co-stars in this thriller. She will be featuring in 'Rambo Rajkumar' with Shahid Kapoor. This would be a film by Prabhu Deva. With Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi will be next seen in the remake of the movie 'Thuppakki'. In 'Bullet Raja', she will be paired up with Saif Ali Khan. Her cameo song with Prabhu deva - 'Go Go Go Govinda' from the film 'OMG Oh My God!', showered lot of praise on her.
