One of the hot and talented actress Supriya has just stepped into the Bollywood film industry. She was so determined and specific at her work that she never had a second thought. She was not offered the main lead roles in the films, but still she continued her career as a supporting actress. She was an air-hostess and beside the PR person for an international airline but she always thought that was not the right place for her.
Personal Career
Supriya quit her job as an air-hostess and began her career in the film industry as a junior artists. Her financial condition forced her to do part time modeling assignments for some extra income. She gave up that job and joined Saudi Arabia airlines and later when she was transferred to Jeddah she quit the job and joined Modiluft as a public relations officer.
Television Career
Supriya left her PR job when she was offered many television serial roles which she felt were good to start her career. She was offered a role in Lapata Laash in the serial Kanoon by Ravi Chopra. She was very happy to do so and later she acted in few shows like Ek Se Badkar Ek, Jhansi Ki Rani and Bada Aadmi.
It was nothing great that she achieved out of this hard work in her career as the serials were not the biggest hits or that known and popular to all.
Film Career
Supriya began her film career as a supporting artist in many popular films like Taal in which she played the negative character Shakuntala who interferes in the love story of Manav (Akshay Khanna) and Maansi (Aishwarya). In Mujhse Shaadi Karoge in 2004 she was seen as mother of Priyanka Chopra and wife of Amrish Puri. In Yadeein in 2001 she acted as Hrithik's mother Nalini Malhotra were she played a negative character but the film had not that great an impact on the viewers and later she continued working in many other films.
