Supriya Sabnis was born on 17th Aug 1957 in Mumbai, India. She met Sachin Pilgaonkar, a Marathi actor, while shooting for a film. They got married and have a daughter, Shreya.
The couple appeared together on the dance show Nach Baliye and walked away as the winners.
Simply Supriya
Supriya has acted in a handful of television serials, the most popular of them are: Tu Tu Main Main, Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi and Kadvee Khattee Meethi. Tu Tu Main Main was a comic look at the differences and affection between a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. Supriya played the daughter-in-law. In its sequel Kadvee Khattee Meethi, she got a new role to play - as a mother-in-law.
After leaving the audience in splits with her performance, she tried her hand at films. She has acted in two films Awara Paagal Deewana and Aetbaar.
