Surekha Sikri Biography
Kalyani Devi a.k.a Surekha Sikri is a famous elderly actress in the Bollywood. She is famous for her different and unique roles in the films and television series. She has been awarded twice as the best actress in the supporting role for the films 'Mammo' and 'Tamas'. Born on 19th April 1945 in Delhi, Surekha Sikri is a very talented actress. She mainly does the character roles but marks her presence every time she appears on the screen. The talented actress attended GEC , AMU in Aligarh. Then she got admission in the National School of Drama in 1968. She has also worked with the NSD repertory company for 10 years then she shifted to Mumbai. Married to Hemant Rege, Surekha has appeared in a huge number of TV serials and films. She recently got an award for the best actress in the negative role for the TV serial Balika Vadhu.
Some noted films in which Surekha Sikri appeared are 'Sarfarosh','Sardari Begum','Zubeidaa','Raghu Romeo','Raincoat','Jo Bole So Nihaal','Humko Deewana Kar Gaye' etc. she will next appear in the film 'I love NY' along with Sunny Deol and Kangana Ranaut.
