Sushma Reddy Biography

Appearing in more than 100 television advertisements, Sushma Reddy successfully became a famous face among the audience, though not every person knows her name. Sushma Reddy is an Indian actress, model, VJ and producer. She is the sister of Bollywood actress Sameera Reddy and was born on 2nd August, 1976. Sushma's another sister, Meghna Reddy is also a Bollywood artist. The actress was a student of Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai. She completed her college education from Mithibai College in Mumbai, receiving a bachelor degree in Economics.

The talented lady finished the course in filmmaking from NYFA in US. It was her sister Meghna, who made her join the world of television. Bharatbala Productions offered Sushma her first and foremost break. Sushma featured in music video 'Deewana' by Diwakar Pundir. The video also featured the singer Sonu Nigam. She was also seen in another two music videos like 'Tere Jaisa Pyaar' by DJ Suketu and 'Ishq Nachaya' by Sona Mohapatra.

Sushma worked as VJ on Channel V for almost two years. On Discovery Travel & Living television channel, Sushma anchored a programme called 'Dream Hotels', in which she presented luxurious and glittering hotels, dcor and vistas. She showcased in this show that what one actually means by living life king-size. Sushma Reddy featured in numerous televisions ads like Limca, Liberty, Fair & Lovely, Ford Icon, Godrej, Thumbs Up, Blender's Pride and many more.

She stepped in Bollywood world with the film 'Chocolate' in 2005 by Vivek Agnihotri. Anil Kapoor was her co-star in this movie. In 2006, she was seen in 'Chup Chup Ke' with Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. Sushma Reddy assisted Rajat Kapoor in the film 'A Rectangular Love Story' in the year 2008.

Along with producer Sanjay Bhattacharjee, the actress established a production company called as Seven Island Studios Pvt Ltd. The production company came up with their first project titled 'Dus Tola' in 2010.

Sushma Reddy opened her own television production company named Niki Redi Productions. With this, she is building up travel shows content on global lifestyle channels like TLC. The actress hosted and produced a show on TLC called Go India Maharashtra. Sushma Reddy was the contestant of Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi Level 2 in the year 2009.
