Tanay Hemant Cheda is a child actor from India.
He has worked in three films, all of which were a huge success.
He was first seen in Farhan Akhtar's Don: The Chase Begins Again (2006) as Dipu, Arjun Rampal's son. His second film was in the critically acclaimed Taare Zameen Par (2007) with Aamir Khan and Darsheel Safary. He played Darsheel Safary's best buddy Rajan.
The third film was Slumdog Millionaire (2008) which swept away awards at all the major film awards ceremonies. He played the lead role Jamal's middle years. He won the Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
