Tara Sharma Biography
Tara Sharma is a famous model and actress. She is half Indian and half British. She was born on 11th January 1979. Well known actor and author late Partap Sharma is her father and Susan Sharma is her mother. Tara studied at the London School Of Economics and at the United World College Of the Adriatic. Tara is married to ad film producer Roopak Saluja and they have two sons Zen and Kai.
Tara started her acting with multi starer film 'Om Jai Jagdish' opposite Abhishek Bachchan. The film could not do much at the box office. Then she was seen in 'The Bill' a British police series. She came into the limelight with her film 'Masti' in 2004. Then she was seen in Madhur Bhandarkar's critically acclaimed movie 'Page 3' along with Konkona Sen Sharma and Sandhya Mridul.
Tara also featured in a comic flick 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' with Boman Irani and Anupam Kher. Next, she was seen in 'Dulha Mil Gaya' with Sushmita Sen. She was seen endorsing products of Garnier. Tara next appeared in the Scotish BBC game show Raven.
Apart from films, Tara has conceptualized a show 'The Tara Sharma Show -Diaries of a New Mum'. She has hosted a show and has written as well. The show got a big success in its two seasons. Tara has featured in the films like 'Bardaasht' ,'Aksar' , 'Heyy Babyy' , 'Overnight', 'Saaya' ,'The Other End Of The Line' ,'The Whisperers' ,'Prem Kaa Game' and '10ml Love' etc.
