Tisca Chopra Biography

A very talented actress in the tinsel town Tisca Chopra is gifted with good looks and acting skills in her. She originates from Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh and born on 1st November 1973 into a very elite family. Her father was a school principal and her mother was a teacher. She herself was a bright student in both school and college. A grand niece of famous satirist and columnist Khushwant Singh has a spark inside her undoubtedly. Gorgeous Tisca went to the Apeejay School in Noida and then she got a degree in English Literature from Delhi University's Hindu College. She was a topper in her college. During her college days talented Tisca took part in many literary events and co-curricular activities like drama and theatre. After completing her education, she moved to Mumbai and took theatre training from the acting giants Naseeruddin Shah and Feroz Abbas Khan.

Married to a captain from Indian Air force , Sanjay Chopra , Tisca is very much affectionate and serious towards her marital life. She does not like to compromise with her family life despite being busy with acting assignments. Tisca liked to be on stage since she was a child. She was just 3 years old when she took part in a play. Later she hosted many quiz competitions, award ceremonies and acted in many theatre plays. She is dedicated to the theatre wholeheartedly. An all rounder actress also writes the plays and columns in the newspapers. She is also a brand ambassador for many brands. She has acted in many television serials like 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar kii', 'Love Marriage' and 'Sarrkkaar' etc.

Beautiful Tisca has made her acting debut with renowned actor Ajay Devgn in a film named as 'Platform' in the year 1993. The film was not successful but B-town noticed a skilled actress in Tisca. She polished herself by working in famous and critically acclaimed theatre plays like 'All The Best', 'Mahatma vs Gandhi','Salesman Ramlal' etc.

The film 'Taare Zameen Par' gave her the real fame and it gave her a real popularity in every household. In this film she played a frustrated and kind mother of a child having a problem of dyslexia. She got many awards and nominations for this film. Next, she acted in many films like 'Firaaq','Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji','Love Breakups Zindagi','10ml Love','404','Mirch' and got a lot of appreciation from the B-town.

Currently, she is busy in her upcoming film 'Ankur Arora Murder Case' also starring Kay Kay Menon.
