Tusshar Kapoor Biography

Being an actor and a son of a successful actor is the most difficult challenge to overcome as people always compare you with your father and his success. But Tusshar does not mind all the criticism and negative reviews of the people. He just believes in working hard and sincerely. Lucky a.k.a Tusshar Kapoor is the son of yesteryears successful actor Jeetendra a.k.a Ravi Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. He is a younger brother of soap queen producer and director Ekta Kapoor. Tusshar studied at the University of Michigan and he has a bachelors degree in business administration. He was born on 20th November in 1976.

Tusshar made his debut in the Bollywood with the film ' Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai' along with Kareena Kapoor in the year 2001. He became a star overnight as the film became a hit at the box office. People loved Tusshar's performance in the film. But then his next two years were the bad patch in his career as his films ' Kyaa Dil Ne Kahaa',' Jeena Sirf Merre Liye','Yeh Dil',' Shart - The Challenge ' failed at the box office. The film ' Kucch To Hai' gained him some recognition again but his next release ' Gayab' gave him the success which he was looking for the two years. Later he appeared in the films like ' Khakee',' Insan',' Kyaa Kool Hai Hum',' Good Boy Bad Boy' etc. But the film ' Golmaal' gave him the taste of real success. His role of mute Lucky in that film was loved by one and all. Again in ' Shootout At Lokhandwala' he marked his presence. Later he was seen in the films ' Dhol',' Aggar',' One Two Three',' C Kkompany',' Life Partner',' Love U..Mr.Kalakaar' which were not successful at the box office.

But his roles in the films like ' The Dirty Picture',' Shor in the City',' Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum' were appreciated by the people in Bollywood. His character of Lucky in the further sequels of 'Golmaal', ' Golmaal returns' and ' Golmaal 3' became very famous and Tusshar got accolades for playing this character very well.

Currently Tusshar is busy with the projects like ' Run Bhola Run',' Shootout at Wadala' and ' Bhaiyyaji Superhit'' and ' Do Lucky' etc.
