Vikram Biography
Vikram is a Tamilian Indian actor, playback singer and dubbing artist.
Basics
Vikram was born in Paramakudi, in Ramanathapuram district on April 14th 1966. He was christened as John Kennedy. His schooling is from a boarding school called Montfort School in Yercaud. His graduation and MBA were from Loyola College, Chennai. Vikram was always interested in karate, dance and swimming. He dreamt of becoming an actor even as a child. He is wed to Shylaja.
Career
Vikaram began his career working in small budget movies which were quiet unsuccessful. In 1990 he made his debut in En Kadhal Kanmani (1990). He was the dubbing artiste to other successful actors but in 1999 after the commercial success of his movie Sethu, he grew popluar as he won the National Movie Award for Best Actor.
He has acted in a number of Telugu and Malyalam movies like Red Indians, Indriyam, 9 Nelalu, Adaala Majaakka and Akka Bangunnava.
Vikram has won many awards for his performance in movies like Kasi, Gemini, Sethu Pithamagan and Anniyan.
His most recent movie is Susi Ganeshan's Mallanna where he is seen opposite actress Shreya Saran.
