Yana Gupta Biography

Yana Gupta aka Jana Synkova is a famous model and actress of Czech origin. She is a citizen of Czech republic. The peach and cream complexioned beauty was born on 23rd April 1979 in Brno , Czechoslovakia (Now, Czech republic). She is proficient in many languages like English, Japanese, Czech, Spanish, and a little bit of Hindi and Urdu. Yana began her career as a model at a tender age of 16. She has travelled almost every place around the world due to her modeling assignments. She has done modeling assignments for some high profile brands like Honda, Toyota, Calvin Klein, Victoria's Secret, Sony, Rexona, Nivea and many more.

Yana has done graduation from Park Architecture and Gardening. She then shifted to Japan for an aspiring modeling career. Eventually she shifted to India and married a Punjabi painter Satyakam Gupta whom she derived her last name. Post marriage, she continued her modeling career with the brands like MTV, Lakme, Limca etc., which paved her path in the Bollywood. She did an item number 'Bijli Giri' in the film 'Dum' which brought her fame and popularity. After that, she appeared in another movie 'Ek Ajnabee' with Arjun Rampal. She worked in few Telugu , Tamil and Kannada movies as well. Recently she and Satyakam Gupta divorced.

Apart from acting and dancing, Yana has other hobbies like playing flute, piano and aerobics, health, fitness, computers, internet etc. Recently Yana wrote and published a book named as 'How To Love Your Body And Get The Body You Love'. She is currently hosting a musical countdown show on Zoom TV. The European beauty was named as Lakme new face of the year replacing Lisa Ray.

Yana is planning to launch her own music album in English which will be dubbed in Spanish and Czech.
