Zayed Khan Biography

Zayed Khan, best known for his performance as a spoiled brat, Lucky in 'Main Hoon Na', was born on 5th July 1980 in Mumbai to Bollywood actor, Sanjay Khan and interior designer, Zarine Khan. He belongs to the full-fledged Bollywood family, he is the youngest of four children. His elder sisters are Simone Khan, Suzanne Roshan (Hrithik Roshan's wife) and Farah Ali Khan (DJ Aqeel's wife). His uncle was the ace actor, Feroz Khan and actor Fardeen Khan is his paternal cousin.

Zayed has done his schooling from Welham Boy's School, Dehradun and later, Kodaikanal International School, Kodaikanal. He holds the degree in business management and film making from University Of Washington and London Film Academy, respectively. He got married to his childhood love, Mallaika Parekh and has two sons, namely, Zidaan and Aariz.

After having his roots into Bollywood, even Zayed went on to become an actor. He debuted in 2003 film, 'Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne', alongside his school-mate, Esha Deol. His second film was 'Main Hoon Na', which was his career's highest grossing film. His performance in the character role of Lucky was quite liked by the audience, which made him earn the nomination of Best Supporting Actor in 2005.

In 2005, the actor had four releases, namely, 'Vaada', 'Shabd', 'Dus' and 'Shaadi No. 1', apart from multi-starrer, 'Dus', all the other movies failed at the box-office. After appearing into series of flop films, he landed into a big-budget film, 'Blue'. Also, he did a special appearance in the romantic film 'Anjaana Anjaani', playing Priyanka Chopra's love interest.

Zayed ventured into film production with co-owned production house, Born Free Entertainment, thereby producing as well as acting in the film 'Love BreakUps Zindagi'. He was lastly seen in Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn starrer, 'Tezz'. For his upcoming movie, he will be paired opposite Amisha Patel in her forthcoming productional venture, 'Desi Magic'.

Though Zayed had a roller coaster ride of up-and-downs in his acting career, still he holds the reputation for his strong style statement. He has the boyish charm in his looks, even after being the father of two kids!
